Ivan Rushmer
Founder, GPS Track and Trackerserver
Ivan Rushmer is the founder of GPS Track, a South African supplier of vehicle, fleet and asset tracking, and of Trackerserver, a white-label telematics platform on which tracking companies provide their services under their own brands.
Rushmer has worked in the telematics industry since 2014. That work covers both halves of a tracking business: the hardware on a vehicle, and the software that turns what the hardware reports into maps, alerts and reports.
On the hardware side, Rushmer maintains close working relationships with several of the world's leading telematics manufacturers and has extensive experience in China, where much of the industry's hardware is designed and produced. That experience includes the development of new tracking devices, and it informs the range of trackers, sensors and fuel probes that GPS Track supplies in South Africa.
On the software side, Rushmer is a full-stack software developer. Trackerserver supports more than 4 800 device models and gives each tracking company a dedicated server under its own brand, domain and applications, with real-time tracking, AI video telematics, fuel and sensor monitoring, indoor positioning, reporting, an AI assistant and WhatsApp self-service.
This website brings the two together: tracking hardware that can be ordered online, and the platform on which a tracking business in any country can run under its own name.
Enquiries about hardware or about the platform may be made through the contact page.
